ANTIQUE 19th century Teacups
A tea set of English Antique bone china teacups and saucers from the 1800’s. For Display only.
9 Wide rim teacups with pedestal base. The base colour is white with deep cobalt blue banding and gold detail. Moulded edges and gold middle cartouche decoration. There is damage throughout and the set will be more suitable for a collector or as a display piece. There are interesting staple repairs to some of the handles and the body of one teacup. The pattern number is painted in gold 4/506. There are a few hairlines and a small chip.
This set would have graced a very wealthy family home and would have been used extensively by important guests for Afternoon Tea. Despite the historical damage, it is an impressive set and deserving of a special home.
